Returns & Cancellations

Because every card is custom-printed and mailed directly to your recipient, our policy works differently from a typical retail return policy. Most actions are self-service from your account.
Cancelling your order
You can cancel your order yourself from the My Orders page in your account. Cancellation is guaranteed within 30 minutes of placing your order, with a full refund issued to your original payment method.
After 30 minutes, your card may already be in production with our print partner. You can still try to cancel from the My Orders page — if printing hasn’t started yet, the cancellation will go through and a full refund will be issued. Once printing has started, the order can no longer be cancelled.
Refunds are normally processed automatically. In the rare case that an automatic refund doesn’t go through, we’ll process it manually — email support@warmlywritten.com and we’ll handle it.

Reporting a card that wasn’t delivered
If your card hasn’t arrived seven days or more after the expected delivery date, please email support@warmlywritten.com. We will reprint and resend your card or issue a full refund — your choice.
Damaged, defective, or misprinted cards
If your card arrives damaged, misprinted, or with a print quality defect, email us at support@warmlywritten.com within 30 days of the expected delivery date with a photo of the issue. We will reprint and resend it at no charge, or issue a full refund — your choice.
What cannot be refunded
Once a card has been printed, we cannot offer refunds for:
- A change of mind
- Typos, incorrect names, or incorrect recipient information that you provided at checkout
- Standard mail delivery delays caused by USPS that resolve themselves (i.e., the card eventually arrives)
If you notice an error after placing your order, cancel and reorder from the My Orders page in your account. The cancellation is guaranteed within 30 minutes of placing your order; after that it depends on whether printing has started.
Refund method
Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
